Welcome to the newly launched michael-jones.name!

The personal homepage of Michael Jones, as well as a knowledge base of articles and technology blogs covering a variety of topics including programming in HTML, C#, Verilog, Matlab & Assembly amoung many others. Hardware topics covered include using and programming a PIC microcontroller, Cyclone II FPGA and various other small projects which were tackled.

The purpose of the site is to give back some of the knowledge the author has gained while completing a degree course in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. In particular to convey things which were found to be extremely hard to locate on the internet as well as very vague.

The site also contains a number of programs written in C# which the author developed after encountering small day to day problems which could be overcome with a simple program. Software is all free, and includes the source code. Users can do what the like with the software. All that is asked is that the work is appropriately referenced if used in academic or commercial work.

All public publications of the author are also listed, some are omitted as they contain trade secrets and other confidential information however a sample can be provided on request.

If you have any comments or suggestions I'd love to hear them. If you have any modifications to programs or code listed get in touch and i'll list it. To get in touch use the contact the author link in the menu.
